Pathfinder – Vivekananda International Foundation joint Webinar
Pathfinder Foundation together with Vivekananda International Foundation successfully held a close door webinar on "Connectivity between Sri Lanka and India" on 7th April 2021. This is the first webinar of the series of webinar under the concept of Connectivity in order to realize the importance of connectivity between India and Sri Lanka. Professor Rohan Samarajiva, the Founding Chair of LIRNEasia and Dr. Ravi Ratnayake, former Director, Trade and Investment Division and former Chief Economist for Asia and the Pacific, UNESCAP was in the distinguished panellists from Sri Lanka side and Mr. Bipul Chaterjee, Executive Director, Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) International and Mr. Sanjay Chadha, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry was the distinguished panellists from India. The panellists mainly point out on Connectivity can maximize especially through trade and economics, advanced technology and knowledge exchange with the common cultural heritage understanding and those will be the main advantages for India and Sri Lanka to strengthen their own ties with the geostrategic importance of both the states.
