The Pathfinder Foundation (PF), in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Trade Agreement-Chamber of Commerce and Industry (APTA-CCI), recently concluded a highly successful virtual training program on Market Analysis Tools developed by the International Trade Centre (ITC).
The training, which attracted participants from various countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar, Turkey, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, the UK, and the USA, catered to a diverse audience comprising government officials, policymakers, consultants, private companies, trade counsellors, academic researchers, and undergraduates.
PF Chairman Bernard Goonetilleke expressed delight at the overwhelming response to the training event, emphasizing its potential to empower participants to conduct their research and analysis on exploring untapped trade and investment opportunities among APTA member countries. He thanked ITC for their continued collaboration and the resource persons, Rao Mehroz Khan and Michela Esposito, for their valuable contributions.
Ajith D. Perera, founder and Executive Secretary of APTA-CCI, highlighted the practical insights and updated trade information provided during the training, emphasizing the importance of educating current and prospective exporters in promoting export activities.
The training received positive and encouraging feedback from participants, who found it immensely useful for assessing export potential and promoting trade and investment within the APTA region.
